Portrait & Lifestyle. Drone & Video

Photographer, videographer and a bit of a storyteller, based in Kununurra, in the beautiful East Kimberley.

I’ve called the Kimberley home for over 10 years now, and I still reckon it’s one of the most incredible places in Australia. The landscapes, the people, the culture and the stories — there’s something pretty special about living and working up here.

What started as a love for taking photos has grown into something much bigger. These days, you’ll find me photographing everything from weddings and families to community events, cultural celebrations, local businesses and the occasional adventure out bush.

I also love getting behind the video camera, particularly when there’s a good story to tell. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing people and organisations across the Kimberley, capturing stories that deserve to be seen and heard.

My approach is pretty simple. I like to keep things relaxed, have a laugh and let people be themselves. I’m not big on awkward poses or making things more complicated than they need to be. I reckon the best photos usually happen when people forget there’s a camera pointing at them.

For me, photography is about more than just getting a great shot. It’s about the people you meet, the places you go and the moments you get to be part of.

And after all these years, I still get a real kick out of it.

What I Believe

The best images happen between control and chaos, the movement, tension, strong light, and moments that only exist for a second.

I’ve always been drawn to people and their stories. The conversations, the laughter, the quiet moments and the connections you make along the way. Living in the Kimberley has given me the opportunity to meet some incredible people from all walks of life, and that’s probably what I love most about photography.

For me, it’s about more than taking a good photo. It’s about making people feel comfortable, building trust and capturing those genuine moments that might otherwise go unnoticed. I love the stories behind the faces, the places people call home and the little things that make us all human.

At the end of the day, it’s the people and the connections that make this work so rewarding.
